Description
If your existing fans are plume or boa fans from Fancy Feather, these are the easiest conversions. You can likely select a conversion package and be happy with the results as you are starting with great quality feathers. However, if you would like to add a row of feathers, change the color, have other feather types or would like to make other modifications, purchase this package first.
For conversions from all other fan companies, you must purchase this package first. While I’m familiar with the majority of the types out there, the feather material and construction can be unpredictable.
Once purchased, you will receive a UPS (insured at $300 for plume fans, $300 for peacock fans, $900 for boa fans and $1,000 for pheasant fans) ground shipping label to send your fans to me. Ensure you pack your fans to reduce damage to the material. It is recommended that you secure the staves to the bottom of the box to reduce the risk of damage to the tops of your feathers.
When they are received, I will remove the material and provide an inventory/assessment of the material you have. From there, we can discuss your goals and finalize the cost for the conversion or upgrade. At that time, you will be provided an invoice that must be paid within 15 days. If not paid or you choose not to proceed with the project, the material will be shipped back to you via UPS (insured at $300 regardless of the material).
