Forget the golden fleece, these golden fluffs are more divine! Being in Las Vegas meant that Mollie De Menthe was able to bring her gold swatch into Rainbow Feathers to have them do a test and match dye. Gold all around, each fan uses 14 12″ staves in Gold Bar and is just a double …
This deco inspired set was snagged quickly by Samson Night! Head to his profile for a fun picture that had to be taken minutes after they arrived. The amazing front plate design was done by Katrina Monreal. In fireside copper, it’s backed with glitter vinyl. Three additional staves hold the 27-35″ lady am sidetails from …
A refurbish and conversion gave these boas a whole new look. Originally from @fancyfeathercom, the 24 ostrich and marbou boas were redyed by Fancy Feather and then mounted using a wrap assembly on 24 of my 20″ staves in a new blue green color. A lighter lift and more compact, these fans float easier and …
Great for smaller stages and can be upgraded later. Both sets feature about 90 27-35″ lady am sidetails from @happinesscathy on 6 of my scallop staves.
These are an upgraded Standard 3 (donnatouch.com/ostrich) with 14 12″ staves in white with a top row of ivory and front row of white 18-24″ wide plumes from @fancyfeathercom. These just shipped out in a small case!
The design of the double layered stave structure was done by katrina Monreal. The plate and peekaboo staves can easily be rhinestoned. The set has 120 zebra 30-35″ from @happinesscathy.
Only love for this stellar color combination fine for Jezebelle Red. Only thing better is their sharp and swishy sway movement! Built on my 8 of my scallop staves — which create a more seamless circle — in fireside copper, we’ve got a mix of 200 25-35″+ (in colors #40/#41 and #89) sidetails from @happinesscathy.
Quadruple layer ultimate fluff just landed with Bryona Ashly! Slightly smaller than her jumbo swan-like wings, Bryona is sure to hypnotize audiences with the dense darkness and subtle movement of this set. Each fan uses 14 14″ staves in satin black with 4 large and wide plumes from Rainbow Feathers
Seeing double? There are two fan conversions in this post! XX sent over the first one and then the second one about a month later to ensure they always had a set available for their performances. We moved the feathers over to a 24 set of 12″ staves in almond and added a fresh top …
These dramatic beauties just arrived with Jonah | Chocolate Showboy in Paris! As a feather negotiator, I listen to the requests, but have to talk it over with the feathers and then let the performer know if they’ll comply. This is true for dye colors, layering and structural elements. Thrilled with results of our negotiations …
Today seems like a good day to break the internet with Maple Rose fabulous pheasant fan project! First… a reminder. Awesome stuff like this takes time!! This set took 5 months from commission to delivery. I know I make this stuff look easy, but truly custom work requires time for all the pieces to come …
Done for Mrz Frizque For this Flirt 2, each fan features 12 8″ staves in gloss black with a double layer of plumes from @fancyfeathercom
Rescued these feathers for Cervena Fox from broken staves. We did these so fast so she could get back out to preforming with them, I forgot to write down the specs! But the set features 8 scallop staves and 140+ center tails feathers. Luckily the feathers were wired on the orginal staves, so they were …
Pieces done for Donna Hood to fit over scallop staves we converted her pheasants to.
Done for Jezebelle Red With feathers being a natural product, sometimes you have to listen to what they want to do. Originally planning for the 8″ flirt staves, these quills on these plumes were just too bulky. So I moved them up to the 12″ standard just mounting the top feather one position lower. This …
I met Anadelia at the fan workshop (hosted by Miss Isabelle Marie) and was able to take her fans home with me for her conversion! These moved over from Hot Fans staves which are big, heavy, bulky and not built for performance. The feathers are now on a set of my 8″ staves in gold …
How cool are these front plate handles? These were done as a followup for Sassy von Straddler to add onto her orange and pink conversion. The design was done by Katrina Monreal and finished in traffic orange.

Really glad I got to help Miss Mina Murray with this lovely upgrade! She had a set on bamboo for many, many years. They were a lovely row of single long plumes that were worth saving. As ostrich feathers age, they tend to get softer and silkier in their texture and movement. We moved them …

This set is 24 6ply boas on 24 24″ staves. They were a miss ply order that were redyed so they are a bit of a steal if the color is for you. They are fright lemon yellow and the base to golden rod tips. Because of the thinner ply, I tried a wrapping technique …

You have to see these in person to really appreciate their color and complexity. I brought them to Las Vegas and they stole @its.cherry.babyyyy’s heart. This set is built across 12 of my 3-prong staves using 25″+ tip dyed feathers from Fancy Feather. I had ordered these on a whim early last year and it turned into an adventure to create new staves to accommodate them.
The first set to ship in 2022 is this conversion for Angelica Lavalier which couldn’t be a more fitting start to the new year! If you have feather fans on staves that have broken, hinder your performance or need a refresh, consider a conversion. Breaking up with acrylic can be the right step to take …
Commissioned by Eva Devore, these just arrived to her in Australia! Pulling from deco inspiration, the custom, articulating stave set (in Gold Bar) was designed by Katrina. I tested the structure, laid out the attachment points to accommodate (140 zebra 30-40″ in color #41 zJones) and assembled. I know Eva has plans to embellish these …
